For fastball, riseball, dropball:

1. Film the pitcher from her throwing arm side directly to the side of her. Put the pitcher in the frame as close up as possible with the full motion from start ot finish showing on camera. It is not necessary to see the path of the ball. The focus is on the pitcher only.

2. Provide 3 pitches of the pitch to be evaluated. SAMPLE VIDEO below:

1. In filming the curve and screw, shoot from head on to the pitcher. Keep the pitcher in the frame throughout the pitch. Keep the camera still and don¢t track the ball as it travels toward the catcher.

How many pitches should I video?
• We only need one shot of the pitch you want analyzed. Each Media Book cost will cover 2 pitches. This should keep the video very small. No more than 10 – 20 seconds per pitch.
How will I receive my video analysis media book?

Athletes can be evaluated through our video analysis program in detail using Dartfish TM technology and the Dartfish Pitching Breakdowns. Pitchers will be evaluated through their steps of the pitching motion. Pitchers can be evaluated on the fastball, drop ball, rise ball, curve ball, or screw ball. It is best to have an analysis on the fundamentals of your overall (fastball) motion before beginning with different movement pitches.

• We will send you an e-mail with an attachment of the analysis. There will also be a link in the e-mail that will send you to a website tso that you may download the Dartfish player necessary for free. By downloading this viewer you can look at the clip in Dartfish as if you were here at the alley with a professional. If your e-mail domain stops certain file types, the file type you will need to let thru is a .df to download the viewer and look at your analysis.
How will I be charged for my video analysis?
• Once the video is accepted, The Power Alley will e-mail an invoice for payment. You may come by and pay if you are local or mail a check to the Power Alley at 14834 Bristol Park Blvd Edmond OK 73013. Once payment is collected, please allow 10 days for your email of your Media book.
